On October 25th and 26th, 2024, the 38th Annual Sauder Village Woodcarvers Show and Sale was held in Archbold, Ohio. There were 24 exhibitors and vendors who participated in the show. Robert Stadtlander was awarded Best of Show for his carving of the crucified Christ.
Mr. Stadtlander taught a relief-carving class to River Valley Wood Carvers in February, 2024.
The Award of Excellence went to Wayne and Teresa Harmon. The Merit Award went to bird carver Sandy Czajka.
River Valley Wood Carver, Ralph Cooper, participated, exhibiting his hiking stick carvings based on Aesop’s Fables.
The two-day show was well attended, with attendees seeing a wide range of beautiful carvings and turnings.
