River Valley Wood Carvers offers Club Membership, Group Seminars, Saturday Carve-ins and Great Fellowship for all ages. Membership to our club is very affordable for the whole family.
Your wood carving adventure can take on many facets. Once you start learning the techniques of wood carving you can start to explore the various types of carving available. Whittling, flat plane, relief carving and caricature carving are all popular styles of wood carving you can experience as a member of our club.
Wood Carving is a relaxing and most enjoyable hobby the whole family can do together. Once you start your imagination will begin to go wild. With the necessary safety equipment home schooling parents can even offer this as an art class to their curriculum. Many of our members sell their carvings at carving and craft shows or on sites like Etsy for some extra cash.

“I joined River Valley Wood Carvers 8 years ago and I must say it has been one of the most enjoyable experiences I have had.
From the 1st day everyone made me feel like I had been there for 20 years. Getting a chance to learn from so many talented people has helped my wood carving excel fast! I still have a lot to learn but learning is easy when your surrounded by so many talented wood carvers!”
